The Boletus Edulis, also known as Cèpe, is described as nutty and  slightly meaty, with a smooth, creamy texture.

Porcini mushrooms (Boletus Edulis).

Rinse the mushrooms thoroughly in lukewarm water, then place into a small bowl and fill with hot water.
Allow to soak for 20-25 minutes and drain. You can filter the liquid and use it, as it is full of flavor and will greatly enhance any recipe or broth.

After being soaked, these mushrooms should be cooked as fresh mushrooms. Porcini are a feature of many cuisines. They  are eaten and enjoyed raw, sautéed with butter, ground into pasta, in risotto, in soups, and in many other dishes.
